I'm young at heart. I try to make someone laugh every day. It helps that I don't take myself too seriously.
I'm a loyal, trustworthy, affectionate, caring man. I'm generally an ebullient character but there are also times when I like to quietly read or listen to music. I'm a good cook and love dinner parties. I'm an active, happy, person leading a great life, the only cloud being the lack of someone to share it with.
I love the outdoors, especially mountains and bush. I have a strong healthy body which allows me to go for long walks with Jock, my Border Collie. I also go to the gym 3-4 times a week for high intensity Pack Sessions.
I was born in the UK and spent some time in Africa before coming to NZ. I restored and owned a house in France for six years and am a francophile. I had a successful career in advertising before becoming a published author in 2008. I'm currently working on my third novel.
I've always taken an optimistic view of the world and prefer to look forward rather than back. The best is yet to come. I'm looking for a person who's also young at heart, who shares my view of life and has her own views too. Is fundamentally happy. Good fun to be with. Fit, active, healthy, positive. I believe that face to face is the only way to know if the chemistry is there, so I'd like to meet asap over coffee and see what happens.
